Full Moon of Werewolves Schedule

Dark CrusadeYay! Let the howling begin! A Full Moon of Werewolves starts today! 30 days of posts about werewolves by werewolf-loving paranormal romance and urban fantasy authors and Prizes!!

Now, I don’t write werewolves. I write garm, hellhounds and other types of shifters. But Garm are wolves–and since I think I’m the only garm author out there, werewolf it had to be. And I wanted something that tied into my April releases, Dark Crusade and Midnight Cravings–both in bookstores now. :)

The rules are simple, and there is a grand prize of $100 in werewolf books to be had! To enter, comment on individual Full Moon posts. You can comment as much as you want; one comment per post will be counted as an entry. There will also be some daily prizes, as noted on Full Moon schedule. (Prizes shipped to U.S. addresses only unless otherwise indicated in post, all contests end Saturday April 25th at midnight.)

So, let’s get started. For your first official entry, let’s talk werewolf authors. Who is your favorite? Whose book do you race out to buy as soon as it hits the shelf? (Note: some of these books may find there way into that grand prize I mentioned.)

And check back later today (noonish central) to read Michele Hauf’s post.

  24. Lori

Great list! A couple of the authors mentioned were ones I wasn’t sure had werewolves in their books. I will definitely be adding a few from here into the grand prize bag!

  25. Barb P

A few of my favorite werewolf authors are: Cynthia Eden, Kresley Cole, Patrice Michelle, and of course some author by the name Lori Devoti, just to name a few. There are tons more. 36. Karin

I have to say that, so far, Shelly Laurenston is my absolute favorite werewolf author. I just love how funny all of her characters are. They have some of the most hilarious dialogue that just fits with each character. Not only that, but the pairings have been absolutely perfect.

  37. LadyVampire2u

Well, your books of course are favorites of mine. And then there are the shifters in Laurell K Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong and Kresley Cole’s books. But to be honest I have so many werewolf authors I like. Many of my all time favorites are named above.

  38. Ley

Absolute favorite is… Patricia Briggs! Love, love, love her. All her books, not just the Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series. More names are coming to mind, but I’d better not start the rave, or I might not stop!

  39. Ashley Madden

I’m not particularly picky about authors, so it doesn’t really matter. I love books about all sorts of the paranormal

  40. CrystalGB

I love Keri Arthur, Lori Handeland and Sherrilyn Kenyon’s werewolf books.

  41. Mirko di Wallenberg

For me to buy a book, I look for several things a) who is the writer! A Devoti, Hauf, Peneiro, K. Hamilton… book always is a good read; b) then the topic of the story is always important like vampires, werewolves, highlanders, indians… c) is the book part of a series! I love serial books composed of 4 or 5 entries and d) the cover of the book! A great cover is always a plus; a bad cover is a real challenge to buy the book! I love eye-candy! LOL So in all in all most of the Nocturne books are on my readling list every month!

  42. Virginia Hendricks

She’s not quite a werewolf author, but I love Rachel Vincent’s shapeshifters :)
