I’m going to do this list format and add to it as random (but very important) thoughts occur to me.
First…
- Must Haves
Little Black Dress wine minis. Have you seen anything cuter and more appropriate for the frugal romance author? I didn’t think so. OH! And they are plastic–so light and easy to pack.- An evening bag. My first year I didn’t think to bring one. What a pain. No one wears their name badge to the Ritas or other parties–and you so can’t carry whatever lovely tote we get. (I do love the totes, but with a cocktail dress? Not so much.) So, get thee an evening bag!
- Must Dos
- Pedicure!! Check those piggies! Nobody needs to be seeing those winterwarn feet.
- Try on everything. I did this tonight. I discovered my Victoria Secret Angel “whatever” gave me some unexpected “enhancement” in my Rita dress…better to know these things upfront (no pun intended).
