Friday!

Don’t know why this excites me since I don’t do the day job thing anymore, but it’s still exciting. Finally, the weather has turned warmer–it’s raining, but at least it’s well above zero. Of course, my mother calls me from Tennessee (she’s just visiting the area) to tell me jonquils are blooming there. As my friend Laura Drewry would say WHATEVER!

On other fronts…writing is going well. I should be done with Guardian’s Keep by the end of this month. Then I will have to revise and decide whether to dive into my third Nocturne or work on the urban fantasy I currently have out with agents. Unless someone is clawing through my door to see the full of the urban fantasy, I will probably get the proposal for Nocturne 3 done, then take a wee break to work on said urban fantasy…or something else… Again depends on who is beating on my door–or not. :)

Good news–I got $$ today. Always a good thing. Thank you, Harlequin.

Reality check–I realized we are close enough to Unbound’s release date at least a few reviewers have probably received copies of it. Startling for some reason. I always write things and it isn’t until right before they come out it hits me other people will actually be reading it. I mean I KNOW they will, but it’s right before release it starts to hit home.
So, that’s it for me–a lazy rainy day in writerdom.

Have a good one!

Lori
