I dunno, I always thought it a cute idea for when you’re too busy to actually cook. Just take it out of the freezer and put in the oven. I’d do it if I had a large freezer.
But you have to go there and fix it first, don’t you? That’s what I don’t get. What is the appeal over just buying a premade dinner from a deli or something? Or a take and bake kind of place?
I think because of the variety. And well, you don’t have to dirty up your own kitchen and buy all the ingredients yourself. But you still know exactly what’s going into it. And I think take and bake stuff is still a bit more expensive.
And I know here sometimes they have parties, so a group of friends will do it together.
The name for this blog came from a conversation I had with a friend who referred to life as a published author as "life on the bubble". And it's true; you are always on the bubble–lines close, life gets in the way, and the market changes. You can never settle in and feel secure–so there you are sitting on that darn bubble and hoping it doesn’t burst right under your…you know. But for all that, it's a great gig and I'm thrilled to have a shot at it.

They seem pretty popular here.
