On ARCs, it depends on the publisher and on how much promo they decide to give that author. The average author at Kensington/Zebra doesn't get ARCs. They do send copies of the manuscript to RT, Affaire de Coeur, Rendezvous, and Book List. I print up unbound manuscript pages for reviewers, but this book I am also making bound copies for book sellers (which hopefully they will read, love and tell all their customers about--that's the idea anyway). I print the pages, cut them and glue them. It is quite the little home publishing operation--ah, the glamorous life of an author. (g)
