What I’ve been up to…

Still making those ARCs for Love is All You Need, but I have also been busy tweaking a couple of synopses. The first is a paranormal mom lit. The second is a dark paranormal romance–yep dark.

I’ll let you know how those turn out. :)

  1. Just because I know nothing about the subject, so I’ll ask …. you have to print and bind your own ARC’s? I would have thought the publisher would do that for you.

BTW - I answered your question in the other blog post. That is me!

  2. Thanks, Valeen! I appreciate all the buzz I can get–and you aren’t even related to me. ;-)
On ARCs, it depends on the publisher and on how much promo they decide to give that author. The average author at Kensington/Zebra doesn’t get ARCs. They do send copies of the manuscript to RT, Affaire de Coeur, Rendezvous, and Book List. I print up unbound manuscript pages for reviewers, but this book I am also making bound copies for book sellers (which hopefully they will read, love and tell all their customers about–that’s the idea anyway). I print the pages, cut them and glue them. It is quite the little home publishing operation–ah, the glamorous life of an author. (g)

  3. Paranormal seems to be hot right now mixed with other genres. I love it that the lines are blurring. :)
