Not sure if that is good or bad. The weather is nicer which is definitely good, and maybe I will get some time to myself again, also good. But I did enjoy having the little rug rats around. Remind me of that say July 20th when I am ready to ship them off to, well, anywhere for a little peace.
On writing, who saw Alicia Rasley’s excellent article on writing scenes in RWR? I am going to have to reread it before I can comment intelligently on it, but it is definitely worth a read. I’m also reading The Weekend Novelists by Robert J. Ray. He has some similar information about building scenes. I’m going to try it out on my WIP.
I’m also working on my one personal method of plotting. I think I may have finally found one that works for me. I am horribly inconsistent. I have tried just about everything. It involves Aristotles’ plot points, Beverly Brandt’s plot points and writing a synopsis. Once I perfect it, I’ll share. :)
